Saphire successfully divested its operating solar PV plants in Hungary

Saphire is proud to announce that the Company successfully divested its operating Hungarian solar portfolio. The company has developed 12 solar PV plants with a total installed capacity of 17 MWp in South East Hungary. The plants are operated under the FiT regime, the electricity is sold to the Hungarian TSO, MAVIR. The Hungarian solar PV portfolio was fully developed, licensed, implemented and then operated by Saphire’s team and was financed from Saphire’s own equity contribution and from long term loan advanced by leading banks’ of Hungary.
