Sales of our Salgótarján power plant project

The company has sold its cogeneration power plant in Szent Lázár County Hospital of Salgótarján to a local investor. The project, which among others included the installation of a 2 MW electric capacity gas engine, was put into operation in 2003. The heat generated by the engine was sold to the hospital while the power to the grid operator. Later the project was extended with an absorption chiller from which we sold chilled water to the hospital for cooling. The sale fits into our medium term strategy to optimize the company’s assets base and improve the long term profitability of the group.
